Vintage Pictorial Quilt Applique for a child or baby.  This quilt has about everything. A man on a donkey cart pulling a woman and child.  A house, flowers, bird, dog and a chicken. Who could ask for more?
It is approx 65 x 50 inches.  Quilt seems quilted, embroidered and appliqued by hand.
The majority of the quilt is in good order.
I think this quilt could be fixed pretty easily. As most of the problems are around the borders.  The edging has come undone and is frayed.  On the top and bottom the fabric is separated where the edging has come off.  Some of the embroidery has come out.  There looks to be like two orange flowers are frayed, but the fabric could be replaced easily.
A new border and trimming off a little bit of the top and bottom of the quilt would do wonders for it.  There are about 4 grayish brownish spots on the front.  A spot or two has some fraying of fabric that is appliqued.
Pictures 6, 7, 8 and 9 show the grayish brownish marks on the front of the quilt.
There is a brownish mark at the top of the quilt, but it would be cut off the fix the edges.
Pictures 10 and 11 show the worse stains on the back. And the fraying on the bottom edge.  There are about 3 other small marks on the back.
This artful quilt deserves the right person to spruce it up.  You could have a quality item with some effort.  In fact, after I attempted to figure out what it needs, I just may end up keeping it myself. LOL.  Good luck.

Quilt are kept in a non-smoking home.
I have a dog, but he doesn’t go where they are kept.
